Welcome! My name is Thierry Wetu Badibanga, and I am your career transition coach based in Geneva. I’m passionate about the work I do through Njila Coaching because it reflects deeply held values that I live by – solidarity, empathy, creativity and integrity.

Njila Coaching émane de l’envie de joindre l’utile à l’indispensable.

What I value as a coach

The power of owning our stories: telling our stories in our own words, and verbalising past hurts, allows us to move forward, find strength and unleashes hidden potential.

The importance of self-care: learning to communicate positively, with kindness and compassion with ourselves.

The strength of diversity. Something everyone has and something everyone should be proud of. It contributes to the evolution of society, technology, and life.

What I offer as a coach

Active listening

Complete confidentiality

Integrity

Creativity to help you reach your goals

What is my approach?

Your goal = Your solution

Because you are unique, my coaching style is tailor-made according to each client’s situation. The process starts with a 1 hour meeting to understand your challenges and assess your needs. The point of this free introductory meeting is to establish a rapport while allowing me to get some information about your situation and professional project.

The duration of the coaching process varies between 3 months and 6 months. The sessions take place at most every 3 weeks.

In the middle and end of the process, we take stock of your progress towards achieving your goal and discuss your prospects.

All the sessions are private and can happen face-to-face, by phone or by video call.

Depending on your situation and your objective, you will be able to choose the most appropriate coaching package.

Mon parcours professionnel

Having started my career in the field of general accounting and finance, my interest in people development soon saw me shift to human resources and – finally – coaching.

But my path was neither straight nor simple. Like many of you, I experienced my fair share of ups and downs.

From facing the uncertainty of losing a job, retraining in another professional field, and considering what steps needed to be taken to grow in my career – I’ve faced it all, and I know the doubts and resistance that these changes bring. I use the lessons that I’ve learned along the way to propose personalized coaching, that’s positive and oriented towards concrete objectives.

My qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, HEC Geneva, 2016
  • Certified NLP Practitioner, INLPTA, 2017
  • Associate Certified Coach , ICF, 2018
  • Mentor Coach, IDC, 2019
  • Executive Coach, IDC, EMCC/EQA, 2020
  • Certified Master NLP Practitioner, INLPTA, 2021

I am aligned with ICF’s published codes of ethics.

And when I'm not coaching?

Being the introvert that I am, I spend my free time on activities that help to recharge my batteries: I listen to jazz, spend time with my family and learn about visual art (paintings, sculptures). And whenever the opportunity presents itself, I’ll enjoy a quiet moment at the beach.
